Tar Heels left stinging


It is not the time of year for questions, but they keep accumulating for North Carolina. The Tar Heels' 84-77 men's basketball loss to Georgia Tech on Thursday night in rambunctious Alexander Coliseum -- streaked by one lengthy and costly defensive lapse -- was their second in a row and third in five games. It also was a big blow to North Carolina's ACC regular-season championship hopes. (Raleigh News & Observer)
