Chizik ‘tackles’ difficult task of improving UNC defense with new scheme, attitude

The UNC football team has a new defensive coordinator and a new, less-complicated defensive scheme. But before the Tar Heels can become a new and improved defensive unit, it must first learn to master one familiar old concept. “For us to see some dynamic change, we’ve got to be just light years above where we were last year in terms of tackling,” said Gene Chizik.
