Heels have struggled down the stretch

The good news for UNC basketball fans is that their team has been strong enough to avoid tight situations for much of the season. The bad news? UNC hasn't shown that strength down the stretch of close games. The Tar Heels have played in just seven games this season in which nine points or fewer separated UNC from its opponent going into the final five minutes. UNC is 3-4 in those contests.
