North Carolina's game next week versus South Carolina in Charlotte is one of the bigger season openers of the 2000s for the Tar Heels, if not ever. Entering the fourth year of the Larry Fedora era with the NCAA probation period in the rear view mirror and a manageable schedule ahead, getting off to a big start against a notable opponent would be huge for this team and program.
