NC State RB Shadrach Thornton suspended for first 2 games

NC State running back Shadrach Thornton has been suspended for the first two games of the 2015 season, university officials confirmed Thursday. No additional details about the violation were released, but officials said the rules violations happened during the spring semester. Thornton was also suspended for the 2013 season opener after being arrested and charged with one count of assault on a female.
