Lucas: Time Away Helps Switzer Focus

Some players have to be coaxed into focusing on football. Ryan Switzer has never been one of those individuals, and that commitment enabled him to make a team-leading 61 catches for a team-leading 757 yards last season. But the Tar Heel coaches thought the West Virginia native might benefit from taking an occasional break. “My dad has told me a lot that I need to have a balance,” Switzer says.
