Nine True Freshmen Could Play For UNC Versus South Carolina

When North Carolina released its depth chart Monday afternoon, nine different true freshmen were listed as a part of the team's rotation. Eight of them were on offense or defense. Most, if not all, likely will play in Thursday's opener versus South Carolina, a heck of a way for a player to get his first taste of live action. But why not, they will be tested like they never have been before and learn more, as well. Welcome to big-time college football, kids. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
