UNC medical students gain invaluable experiences abroad

Through the Office of International Activities at the UNC School of Medicine, approximately one-third of UNC medical students experience international health electives during their time in Chapel Hill. This past summer nearly 50 students traveled abroad to research, teach, and enhance their clinical skills while serving underserved populations.
