Tar Heel TKO UNC pulls away late; Lowe hospitalized
Posted Feb 22, 2007
For a half, Sidney Lowe's bright red sportcoat once again had a magical effect on N.C. State. The Wolfpack strutted into the Smith Center and showed UNC it wasn't satisfied with its upset win over the Tar Heels 18 days earlier. Overcome by dehydration, however, Lowe didn't return for the second half and his team wilted. UNC dominated the interior and outrebounded State 24-6 in the second half to pull away for an 83-64 victory.
