Wolfpack loses its 'soul'
Thursday, February 22, 2007
N.C. State showed lots of heart against rival North Carolina Wednesday night. But in the second half, the Wolfpack was missing its "soul" -- head coach Sidney Lowe, who suffered a fainting spell and was taken to N.C. Memorial Hospital. Lowe, decked out in his red blazer -- the same coat he wore when State upset Carolina 83-79 on Feb. 3 -- guided the Pack to within one point (41-40) of the Tar Heels at the break.
