Tar Heels hold off late rally by Eagles

With its national stature and ACC standing on the line, North Carolina fought off Boston College 77-72 last night and grabbed a share of first place. Marcus Ginyard and Ty Lawson converted four foul shots in the last 22 seconds as the Tar Heels joined Virginia at the top of the conference heap, one-half game ahead of BC and Virginia Tech.
