Posted Oct 5, 2015
Havelock High linebacker Keion Joyner is no longer a member of the football team. Havelock coach Jim Bob Bryant confirmed late Monday that senior was no longer on the team. He did not elaborate. Joyner entered the 2015 season as one of the most highly-recruited players in the state. He held numerous offers from high-profile colleges and reportedly had narrowed his choices to a handful, including North Carolina, Louisiana State and Florida State as his favorites.
