Last Saturday, UNC was once again tasked with trying to tackle Georgia Tech’s triple option offense and cut blocking scheme. While the Tar Heels secured a rare win in Atlanta, starting UNC defensive tackle Nazair Jones suffered a leg injury in the process. John Tobben reached out to former Tar Heel safety Matt Merletti to discuss cut blocking and wonder if it should be banned.
