A late goal by Florida State’s Berglind Thorvaldsdottir was the difference as second-ranked Florida State defeated top-ranked North Carolina in women’s soccer action Sunday afternoon at the Seminole Soccer Complex. With the 1-0 victory, the Seminoles retain the top spot in the ACC at 5-0-1 while the Tar Heels fall to 4-2-0 in ACC play.
