Tar Heels explode through Wake's defense

North Carolina passed its stiffest test yet with flying colors and more than a few fireworks. Wake Forest’s defense ranked No .15 in the country in total defense coming in to the game. The Deacons will certainly not rank so highly after UNC’s 50-14 win. The Tar Heels (5-1, 2-0) scored 22 of their 50 points in one four-minute stretch of the second quarter.
