Another Yankees player with an uncertain role for next season is a former elite prospect who the Yankees acquired for a pair of relatively redundant prospects who likely had no role to play next season anyway. He's still in his prime years and played well enough down the stretch to become a valuable impact hitter against right-handers. What exactly does that mean for him next season?
