P.J. Hairston penciled in as Charlotte Hornets starter for Wednesday

Barring a last-minute change, Charlotte Hornets coach Steve Clifford plans to start second-year pro P.J. Hairston in Wednesday’s season opener against the Miami Heat. Clifford also plans to start Kemba Walker, Nicolas Batum and Al Jefferson. He is still deciding whether to start Cody Zeller or Marvin Williams at power forward.
