UNC is currently all alone atop the Coastal with a 4-0 conference record, leading Pittsburgh (4-1) by a half of a game and Duke (3-1) by a full game. After a decade of fighting an uphill battle to the ACC Championship Game, the Tar Heels are finally positioned to control their own destiny this late in the season for the first time since 2008.
