UNC, Duke bring surprising basketball vibe to meaningful football rivalry game

Duke was picked to finish fourth in the Coastal Division this season by members of the media in July. UNC was picked to finish fifth. And yet, as the neighboring rivals prepare to meet in their annual showdown Saturday at Kenan Stadium, one of them will emerge as the clear-cut frontrunner for the division’s spot in next month’s league championship game.
