UAB coach Jerod Haase donates $46K cost of attendance for men’s, women’s teams

UAB couldn’t cover cost of attendance for its basketball players, so men’s head coach Jerod Haase took the responsibility upon himself and donated $23,000 to both the men’s and women’s programs to pay the lion’s share of the stipends, ESPN.com com reported Wednesday. (Sporting News)
