UNC to honor legends of 1957
Posted Feb 10, 2007
Today at the Smith Center, Joe Quigg and his teammates from the 1957 team will be honored at halftime of UNC’s game with Wake Forest. Joining them will be members of the 1982 national championship team, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their triumph. It’s all part of a weekend that’s had Quigg & Co. zipping around from book signings to TV interviews to cocktail parties and reminiscing about the season that changed their lives.
