Tar Heels making a statement...even if that’s not what they’re trying to do

This time it was Miami on the receiving end of 59-21 beatdown impressive enough to make those around college football — especially outside commissioner John Swofford’s geographic footprint — stand up and take notice. Though UNC might not intentionally be trying to make a statement, its results over the past two weeks are sending a loud, unmistakable message. This team is for real.
