UNC Defense Keyed In: "This was more personal than anything"


The North Carolina defense brought it on Saturday. After two quarters of play, the Miami Hurricanes had zero points. The Tar Heel defense held Miami to 18 rushing yards in the first half and 99 for the game. The 'Canes were more prolific in the air totaling 326 yards. Miami did muster 21 points, but two of those touchdowns came in the fourth quarter, after the game was decided. (Carolina Blue)
