ESPN's 'College GameDay' won't be coming to Virginia Tech for Frank Beamer's final home game

ESPN’s “College GameDay” won’t be making a trip to Blacksburg next Saturday for Virginia Tech football coach Frank Beamer’s final game at Lane Stadium, despite a persistent and passionate social media campaign by the Hokies’ fans. The network announced its decision Saturday night, tweeting a video with ESPN personalities giving video tributes to Beamer.
