Fans swarm for Beamer's home finale

When Frank Beamer announced his retirement at beginning of the month, Kristy Taylor burst into tears. “I told my husband, ‘I feel like a part of me is going away,’ ” Taylor, 37, of Houston, said. The Christiansburg native and mother of two hadn’t been back to her hometown in two years, nor had she set foot in Lane Stadium since joining the Navy in 2001.
