Destinee Walker Named ACC Women's Basketball Rookie Of The Week

UNC freshman Destinee Walker has been named the ACC Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week after leading her team to a 4-0 record last week. Walker, from Orlando, Fla., averaged a team-leading 19.3 points per game. She exploded for 32 points and 10 rebounds in a 94-58 win over Florida A&M to open a busy week for the Tar Heels.
