Charlotte players dominate rosters for UNC, N.C. State football

When rivals North Carolina and NC State meet for the 105th time at Carter-Finley Stadium, a total of 35 players who hail from in or around Charlotte will be on the sidelines. Among the 14 on the Wolfpack's roster and the 21 playing for the Tar Heels are several former high school teammates and competitors, which adds an element of city pride to an already intense rivalry.
