Virginia Tech reportedly to hire Justin Fuente as head coach, retain Bud Foster as DC

Virginia Tech will hire Justin Fuente to replace legendary head coach Frank Beamer, Fox 5's Brody Logan reports. Sports Illustrated's Pete Thamel reported the hire was expected earlier Saturday, calling it "the easiest job to figure out." Longtime Hokie defensive coordinator Bud Foster and associate head coach Shane Beamer will stay on Fuente's staff, per Logan and ESPN's Brett McMurphy.
