The situation was flipped. “I kept telling them to keep playing the next play,” Doeren said. “Don’t look at the scoreboard. Last year, when we were up, I told them the same thing.” This time, a large deficit was too much to overcome in a 45-34 loss to the No. 11 Tar Heels.
