Baylor had to deal with injuries at the quarterback position more than almost any team in the nation. The Bears lost all three scholarship quarterbacks at some point this season: opening day starter Seth Russell with a fractured vertebra in his neck against Iowa State, backup Jarrett Stidham with a chipped bone in his ankle against Oklahoma State and third-string Chris Johnson to a concussion in the first quarter against Texas.
