Marcus Paige gets 'stubborn,' ditches padding on hand

Marcus Paige said his stubbornness won out in being permitted to discard the pad on the back of his once-broken right hand. The star guard played without that protective piece in UNC’s blowout of Davidson on Sunday and reported no ill effects. “I argued and finally got my way,” he said with a laugh. “I was like, ‘Listen, it doesn’t hurt. Let me get rid of the pad on the back.’”
