Williams: Tar Heels 'too fat and happy'
Posted Feb 4, 2007
The Wolfpack made 13 of its 17 field-goal attempts in the second half, including 12 of its first 14. N.C. State became the first team to shoot 70 percent in a half against UNC since Wake Forest accomplished the feat in a 99-66 victory over the Tar Heels on Feb. 6, 2002. A big reason why the Wolfpack outrebounded UNC, the nation's top rebounding team, 31-25 was the fact that N.C. State gave the Tar Heels few misses to pursue.
