As league play begins, North Carolina is considered one of the favorites to win the ACC crown. However, the Tar Heels do have a bit of a tortured history when it comes to the early segment of the conference season. In his previous 12 seasons at the helm of the North Carolina program, Roy Williams has seen his team win its first two ACC games just five times. (Fayetteville Observer)
