Keion Joyner commits to Florida State

Havelock native Keion Joyner finally announced where he will be playing his college football. The four-star recruit chose Florida State over LSU on Saturday. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound outside linebacker was not one of the five scheduled to announce his commitment on national television at the Under Armour All-American Game in Orlando, Fla. Instead, he announced well after one of the nation’s premiere high school all-star games. (New Bern Sun Journal)
