Bobcats' injuries mounting; May sidelined

The Charlotte Bobcats plan to shut down Sean May to rest a bone bruise on his right knee. May has missed six of his last eight games with the injury. The team isn't specifying how long May might be out, but it sounds like more than a game or two. May had two arthroscopic surgeries on the knee last season to remove torn cartilage, which acts as a shock-absorber in joints. (Charlotte Observer)
