Christine Nguyen named the EAGL Rookie of the Week

North Carolina freshman Christine Nguyen received the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Rookie of the Week honor. A native of Plano, Texas, Nguyen placed third in the all-around (38.725) at a quad meet in Lexington, Ky., on January 26th against Maryland, West Virginia and Kentucky. She notched a 9.850 on vault (tied for 2nd place) and a 9.825 on beam (tied for 1st place). (CSTV)
