After battling midseason struggles, Marcus Paige and Justin Jackson have combined for 61 points in the previous two games. Against the Panthers, they were two of five Tar Heels to score in double-figures. But amid their scoring breakouts, each recorded multiple assists — two of seven players to do so. “That’s just the way we need to play,” said Brice Johnson.
