Heels focus on winning the close ones

As the Tar Heels embark on a season laced with anticipation -- Friday was the team's first practice, and Davis spent enough time beforehand answering questions about expectations that it was easy to forget that the Tar Heels only went 4-8 last season -- the road to improvement may be as simple as turning that 3-6 record in games decided by a touchdown or less into a 5-4 or a 6-3 mark. Simple's probably the wrong word. (Durham Herald-Sun)
