An eventful week yields little clarity in ACC basketball standings

Instead of dwelling on Wednesday’s disappointment against Duke, UNC took its frustration out on Miami. The Tar Heels outscored the Hurricanes 44-15 to start the second half and rolled to a 96-71 victory in the battle for first place in the ACC, It was UNC’s most lopsided win against a ranked opponent since a 98-63 win against Michigan State in 2008.
