With all due respect to the supporters of players such as Cat Barber and Grayson Allen, this season’s ACC Player of the Year race could and should come down to the best players on the best teams. That means the award might just be settled on Feb. 27 when Malcolm Brogdon’s Virginia Cavaliers take on Brice Johnson’s North Carolina Tar Heels.
