Tar Heels' 'D' turns Tech into a wreck

Victory No. 1,900 for North Carolina wasn't a thing of beauty. More impressive was the way the Tar Heels made Georgia Tech look really, really ugly Saturday night. That's what the Tar Heels did in their 77-61 victory over the Yellow Jackets, with a good deal of help from Georgia Tech as well. "It was an ugly, sloppy game in some ways for both teams," said UNC coach Roy Williams. (Greensboro News & Record)
