Pacers offer Ty Lawson chance to salvage career

The risk is minimal. The reward could be great. By signing Ty Lawson for the remainder of the season on Monday, the Pacers are giving the gifted but troubled point guard a chance to salvage his image, his reputation and ultimately his basketball life.
