UNC, Notre Dame dealt with last meeting differently to set up rematch

The Tar Heels gathered Saturday and listened to their coaches’ warnings. The coaches promised Notre Dame, their opponent Sunday in the Elite Eight, would draw motivation and rage from their last meeting. UNC crushed the Irish, 78-47, two weeks ago in the ACC tournament. That win has no meaning, UNC coaches told players, except for an angrier foe Sunday.
