Scope of Villanova's rout catches Tar Heels off guard

The severity of Villanova’s 95-51 throttling of Oklahoma in Saturday’s NCAA tournament semifinals caught the college basketball world off guard. Playing against a team that was ranked No. 1 for several weeks this season, and doing so in a dome that’s supposed to be difficult for shooters, the Wildcats shot 71 percent and posted the most lop-sided win in Final Four history.
