Big First Half Leads No. 11 UNC Men's Lacrosse Past Virginia

The 11th-ranked UNC men’s lacrosse team outscored 20th-ranked Virginia 10-1 over the opening 24 minutes of the game en route to a 16-8 victory over the Cavaliers Sunday afternoon at Kenan Stadium. Six Tar Heels had a pair of goals and Timmy Kelly had a goal and three assists to lead Carolina, which got a stellar day from goalkeeper Brian Balkam. (GoHeels.com)
