Clemson’s Dabo Swinney earns pay bump worth millions

The Clemson University Board of Trustees' compensation committee approved on Tuesday a six-year, $30.75 million contract for Dabo Swinney that makes him one of the 10 highest-paid coaches in college football. Swinney's new contract continues through December 2021 and includes $4.55 million in total compensation for 2016, $4.8 million in 2017, $5.05 million in 2018, $5.25 million in 2019, $5.45 million in 2020 and $5.65 million in 2021.
