Heels will open ACC play against Seminoles

Roy Williams gathered his UNC team on Thursday to deliver two messages that he considered highly important before the afternoon's practice. He congratulated his players for winning all but one of 14 games in the season's first stage. He then stressed that conditions were going to change and that the Tar Heels would meet stronger opponents, more determined and with better athletes, because ACC play was about to begin.
