UNC opens conference play against Seminoles

Coach Roy Williams told members of his North Carolina men’s basketball team that they would experience something different tonight. Upperclassmen nodded in agreement. Freshmen didn’t flinch. “Especially the freshmen, it’s getting ready to go to a completely different level from what they could imagine,” Williams said. “Until you go through it, you have no idea what the old gray-haired guy is talking about.” (New Bern Sun Journal)
