Freshmen get their first taste of the ACC

UNC's five freshmen last season felt the same way when they took the court for their first ACC game a year ago today. As is the case with Florida State today, a 12-win team that already had played one conference game visited the Smith Center for UNC's league opener. N.C. State provided a rude welcome to the ACC to Tyler Hansbrough and Co., scoring the game's first 11 points as Williams refused to call timeout to help his inexperienced team regroup.
