Tar Heels try to top 2015 top-10 season

North Carolina head coach Larry Fedora's hope is for the 2016 Tar Heels to be better than last season in every way. UNC was undefeated in Kenan Stadium, won 11 games and the ACC Coastal Division Championship and was ranked in the top 10 nationally for the first time since 1997 in 2015. But being merely a top-10 team's not enough.
